Metadata Policy

  2. No rights at all for re-use of metadata have been granted.

Data Policy

  1. Access to all full items is controlled and limited to Goldsmiths registered users.
  2. All re-use of full items is prohibited.

Submission Policy

concerning depositors, quality & copyright
  1. Items may only be deposited by academic staff of the institution, or their delegated agents.
  2. The administrator only vets items for relevance to the scope of the repository, and valid layout & format
  3. The validity and authenticity of the content of submissions is checked by internal subject specialists.
  4. No embargo policy defined.
  5. If the repository receives proof of copyright violation, the relevant item will be removed immediately.

Preservation Policy

  1. Items will be retained for at least 3 years from the date of deposition.
  2. The repository will try to ensure continued readability and accessibility.
  3. The repository regularly backs up its files according to current best practice.
  4. No withdrawal policy defined.
  5. Withdrawn items are deleted entirely from the database.
  6. Withdrawn items' identifiers/URLs are not retained.
  7. Changes to deposited items are not permitted.
  8. Errata and corrigenda lists may be included with the original record if required.
  9. In the event of the repository being closed down, the database will be transferred to another appropriate archive.
